Trials can be used for bridal or engagement photos, showers, date night etc and are a time for us to practice the look you are wanting for your big day. Anyone can book a trial—I often do trials for brides as well as mothers or MILs. Most of my girls use this opportunity to be glammed up for their bridals session. The price for any trial is the same pricing that can be found on my services menu. However, when you complete a trial and continue to book, you will receive $20 off your remaining balance on your wedding day. All payment (including the trial) is taken care of on the day of your wedding, with the exception of your deposit to hold the date. I do charge travel fees for trials if you are needing me to go outside of Central Arkansas, and/or if I am only doing one service for you (either hair or makeup).

Travel fees to your wedding venue/getting-ready location will depend on the location/distance/situation, so shoot me a message for a quote. To hold your date, I ask that you deposit the cost of one of your services. This is not an additional charge; for example, an $85 deposit for makeup will take care of that service on the day of, and will be subtracted from your total. This is a nonrefundable retainer that can be done through Venmo or Cashapp. When you confirm booking and pay the deposit, that date is yours to keep! I do ask that you please notify me in advance of any changes with your date, location and/or number of services prior to the month before your wedding, otherwise I expect to be compensated for buying the necessary product or incurred travel cost if applicable.

I require at least 5 services to book any Saturday event. This could be 4 makeups and 1 hair, or 3 hair and 2 makeups, etc—whatever combo you have! I can book events with fewer than 5 services, but they cannot be on a Saturday, as I reserve Saturdays for larger wedding parties. Trials do not count toward this minimum requirement.

Besides your nonrefundable deposit to hold your date (which is subtracted from your invoice), every other service is paid for on the day of your wedding in cash only. I do not take any app payments whatsoever at weddings due to spotty service at venues. An invoice will be sent to you at least 3 days in advance so that you may prepare. Please ensure that you bring this amount in cash on the day of your wedding, and remind your bridal party to bring cash to pay for the services they will be receiving!

I provide all of the products needed to do yours and your party’s hair and/or makeup for your event. This includes brushes/applicators to do your makeup, all face, eye, and lip products, as well as hair pins, hairspray, texture powder—you name it. I include false lashes and a small container of lip product along with lip applicators to keep with you for touch-ups. I have plenty of products to choose from, but you are more than welcome to bring a certain product of your own for me to use if you have an all-time-favorite.

I hire other artists for my weddings all the time! When you have a large bridal party (usually 8-10+ services depending on timeline), this allows us to create a flexible schedule that works the best for your wedding, and ensures that the start time isn’t at the crack of dawn. This is why it is so important for you to draft a timeline with your photographer and speak with your girls plenty ahead of time to get me a confirmed head count and hire the artist(s). Check out my tips & tricks page for suggestions on what you need to ask your photographer and things I need to know to determine start times.

On the morning of your wedding, it is absolutely imperative that you and your bridal party arrive with clean, moisturized skin and BONE DRY hair. It is a common misconception that dirty hair is always better for styling, but if your hair tends to show grease at the roots easily, go ahead and wash it before the morning of your wedding. However, please ensure that it is totally dry before you sit down for me to style it! Please refrain from doing any waxing or intense skin treatments within 3 days of your wedding, and my recommendation is always to avoid introducing your skin to anything new within 2 weeks leading up to your wedding. My tips & tricks page elaborates further on these topics, and we will certainly discuss specific hair & skin plans together leading up to your big day!

As of December 2023, I currently have 30 weddings booked for 2024, and 2025 inquiries are already rolling in. I hate to say anyone needs to rush into booking, but I would recommend reaching out to ALL of your vendors as soon as possible! Arkansas has far more brides than they do experienced bridal beauty artists, and it kills me to have to turn inquiries away! I will help you anyway I can and give you other recommendations, but please make booking at least 6 months in advance a priority.
