At first I had plans for Rachel’s wedding weekend and sent her some local HMUA recommendations, but when I checked in a couple weeks later and she said she still hadn’t found an artist yet, I felt like it was meant to be and moved a couple things around in my schedule. Boy am I glad I did because just LOOK AT HER!! She is such a natural beauty and we wanted to make sure her freckles could still be seen without forfeiting the photoshop finish that foundation gives. I used Colourpop’s pretty fresh tinted moisturizer, did contour, blush and bronzer like normal, and went back over some lost freckles with a pencil. Her inspo pic had very intentionally placed highlight on the bridge and tip of the nose (which I love) so we copied that. Her lip was a combo of Maybelline’s super stay matte in “loyalist” and vinyl in “cheeky,” with lifter gloss in “silk” on top. For her beautiful curly hair we did a deconstructed updo with some loose pieces in the front. I have a timelapse of me getting her ready on my Tik Tok or Insta if you want to check that out.
